Having easeful and fulfilling relationships with the people we love is vital to us, and yet it can be deeply challenging to achieve that ease with the very people closest to us. We can often find ourselves stuck in old familiar ways of interacting and remain in a cycle of disconnection from the ones we love most.

As a relationship therapist, I work with my clients in the here-and-now to interrupt this cycle of disconnection and dissatisfaction. We won’t just be talking about the issues you’re facing in your relationship—we’ll bring those dynamics into the session and practice changing the patterns in real-time.

My approach allows couples to get to the root of their relational issues and develop the tools they need to have their dream relationship. Through fostering successful conflict skills, self regulation and co-regulation strategies, and “win-win” ways of collaborating with each other, I support couples in building relationships in which both members can thrive–individually and together as a team.

I love to work with partners of all genders and orientations: monogamous, non-monogamous, queer, transgender, cisgender and heterosexual. I also work with individual clients on issues involving relationships, intimacy, identity, anxiety, depression, and trauma.

Training: I use the Developmental Model, the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT Level-II), Relateful (CE-Level II), and my masters-level training in Somatic Counseling from Naropa University. As a somatic and social justice -oriented therapist, I am trained to include the body in therapy and believe it is important to be aware of how cultural and systemic factors are at play in the issues at hand.

Client focus: Couples, Polyamorous Partners, LGBTQ+, Families, Teens

About me: I identify as a transgender, White, queer male. I feel most at home when immersed in nature and I love to hike and spend time with my loved ones.
