Creating meaningful and harmonious relationships is an essential part of life, yet it can often feel elusive, particularly with those closest to us. I work with couples to navigate these complexities, addressing patterns of disconnection and frustration head-on.
My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can explore aspects of themselves that may be challenging to confront. I strive to empower couples to identify and tackle the underlying issues affecting their relationships while providing practical tools for cultivating their ideal connection. I have found that profound change is possible for couples and families by bringing forth parts of the self that may be difficult to look at and exploring how these parts contribute to the familiar dynamics and tensions in the relationship. By focusing on effective communication, emotional regulation, and collaborative problem-solving, I help partners flourish both as individuals and as a cohesive unit.
I honor the unique differences my clients bring, including background, race, socioeconomic status, gender identity, and sexual identity, tailoring treatment to fit each client’s needs. Utilizing an eclectic mix of modalities—such as the developmental model, attachment theory, parts work, psychodynamic therapy, and narrative therapy—I aim to help couples recognize and harness their strengths and internal resources to show up as their best and most authentic selves.
I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and have experience working with couples, individuals, families, and groups. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and singing, spending time in the woods or by the ocean, reading, exploring dream work, and being with friends and family. I also care for my cat, Annie (who may make an appearance in virtual sessions!)
These activities help me maintain balance and deepen my understanding of the human experience, informing my practice and allowing me to foster deeper connections.
