Providing Couples Intensives and Retreats: A Two Day Deep Dive

With Katherine Waddell, LMFT, Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Couples Center of the Pioneer Valley

What

We will be doing a deep dive in learning how to offer one and two day Couples Intensives/Retreats. This workshop provides a "soup to nuts" overview of everything you will need to know about how to conduct one and two day couples therapy intensives.

It will provide you with a large amount of support materials plus in person teaching, coaching, role-playing and strategizing about everything from how to rule in and rule out interested couples, how to prepare them and you for the Intensive, how to direct the arc of the intensive, and how to market your intensives.

Who

This workshop is appropriate for couples therapists who work from a variety of different methodologies so it is not "model specific".

This opportunity is only a match for therapists who already have strong familiarity with couples therapy, feel confident in their work, and are interested in being able to provide high value focused work for couples at a price point that will contribute to your ability to work smarter, not harder.

This two-day live in-person workshop is limited to only three participants.  This ensures you will get a very personalized experience. You'll also get a follow up call together with Katherine helping you strategize your next steps.

Why:

Couples Intensives are gaining popularity for a lot of reasons.

Highly motivated people can get an incredible amount of work done in a period of time.

For busy couples with today's lifestyle, it is a very attractive option to do a deep dive into their work and emerge with very specific tools and skills and a way forward and the plan to practice, as opposed to "grinding away" often online, every week. For many couples, they really like the idea of a weekend retreat/getaway and combining that with an attractive environment as a getaway can be a really nice option.

For couples therapists, the opportunity to do Couples Intensive can be financially very rewarding. Adding Intensives to your repertoire can dramatically change how you work and your schedule. Also, the chance to do a really deep and serious piece of work with both partners and potentially some potent individual work with each partner, can be very rewarding.

Schedule:

Saturday, May 4th 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Sunday, May 5th 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Please select both dates when booking below
