How To Fix Your Marriage in 16 Hours

I was delighted to be interviewed for an article that appeared last week in the Wall Street Journal about couples intensives. Our Centers other Director, Dr. Donna Gilman, and I have both been doing couples intensives for about a decade and it is wonderful to really see them catching on.

We have recently had a big influx in couples reaching out to us about couples intensives.

Why is this? Read the article to find out more.

I know in my bones from having seen it many times, that a tremendous amount of lasting change can come from a couples intensive and that so much more progress can be made in the weekend. But couples intensives are not for everyone.

You may be asking yourself, is this right for us?”  The key is to ask yourself the question, “Am I prepared to do a deep dive into really looking at all the ways I myself fend off some of what I want the most in my partnership?” One of the great ironies of committed partnership is that we mostly believe it’s our partner who needs to do the changing when there’s often a tremendous amount of change that we can do within ourselves that can contribute to becoming part of a strong and powerful team.

Couples intensives help you deeply clarify that piece and harness the energy of your own possibilities and power. I’d personally love to talk with you to see whether this might be a fit for you and your partner. If you would like to discuss this further please email me.
